The Library Bar in Dublin

I stayed at the Fitzpatrick hotel for 2 nights, and during those two nights I gathered some things. The hotel is very nice, the staff is very hospitable and the restaurant in the hotel is actually quite nice, however the rooms are a different story, the mattresses are ok and the linens are nice and soft, but the couch in the room is gross and ratty and there is lose threads all over the couch which is unfortunate. The other problem i noticed with the room is the mold... there was mold all over the ceiling in my room, it was actually quite disgusting and I was uncomfortable sleeping there. If you need a hotel to stay in kinda close to Dublin and you want to stay in a castle I guess this is fine but honestly I would look into something else

Adriana at reception is amazing and Jack at the library bar is fantastic! 10/10 experience and I wish I could stay here forever!

Warm Irish hospitality at its very best.

There's a lot of work to rennovate the castle and Hotel, breakfast was not auch as good as expacted for a 4*Hotel, but we enjoyed the stay for one night, rooms we're Clean and Service was good - familyfriendly hotel with a Pool and a small spa (steambath, sauna and whirlpool)

Love it here. Staff always very welcoming and professional. Will keep coming back

Comfortable room. The hotel is in the suburbs of Dublin; it takes about an hour by public transport to reach the city center. The hotel is quiet and a 5-minute drive from a small town center where you can easily have a drink or a meal in the evening.
