We were at a soccer match in the area and decided to stop for lunch on the way home. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a table. There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere, the fire was lighting and diners looked happy. We enjoyed Vegetable Soup with gorgeous warm brown bread. Our kids enjoyed chicken goujons and chips. We were happy with the service and price and look to return again soon.

The food was in general delicious and the staff polite. The only downside was the potato mash, it's honestly disgusting, don't order it.

Not a great choice for vegetarians has the curry was good size but sadly it was tastless and given the price it was for basily veg in sauce definitely wouldn't go again very disappointed 😔

Henry's at the Glenside

09/07/2024: We went for a late Sunday lunch around 5pm. It’s not a traditional carvery but they did offer, turkey, ham and beef plated Sunday lunch which was delicious. By 5pm they had run out of the special and 3 other menu options but I guess that is our fault for not going earlier. Our server was very young but she was very friendly and fid a great job.
