The Living Room in Dublin

A typical pub where you can enjoy Dublin food and watch a sporting event or live music. We were a group of eight, and we went for dinner and to see the live music. The food was good, the service was good, the music was good, and the Guinness was the best part. In our case, we ordered four pints of Guinness, four pints of Rock Shore, two Irish stews, two truffle burgers, one roast beef, one chicken burger, one sausage with mashed potatoes, three apple crumbles, four ice creams, one brownie, one Irish coffee, and one Baileys coffee, for a total of €316. The bill they brought us included a 12.5% ​​service charge. We were surprised that this charge was handwritten, as if it were only applied depending on the customer, whether they were foreigners or from the city... it wasn't very clear to us.

We were seated right away which was good. Came on a Sat around 1300. Hostess/Server was not Irish, seemed no one we saw working around our table was. Which, kudos to them for hiring non Irish...was just expecting that in an Irish Pub we would come across an Irishman/woman. Service was decent...but never saw our sever who took our after since she took it. I had fish n chips....Definitely have had better....food was piping hot...but no flavor in any of it really. Added salt and vinegar..still pretty bland. Fish was good though. Husband liked his dish. He was able to get a dark and red ale too. They promote their live music and dance on screens around.

Ate the Guinness and beef stew which was very good and the service was friendly.

Amazing lunch. Make reservations in advance for evening to watch dancing and enjoying Guinness. Thanks to Murray's, I am now certified to pour Guiness. Everything was amazing!!!!

Fantastic place with good food. We were there for both an Irish breakfast and dinner. In the evening we had a really sweet and attentive waiter Caroline who took good care of us. There was live music with really hot Irish folk music

Nice place to go for a drink and bit of food. Sports bar upstairs. Recommend Tom Clarkes bar at street level. Ballads on every afternoon/evening ( I think ) - we were there about 4:30 til 6:30 and abllads were on. Nice pint and bar staff are sound. 🍀

Great pub with live music and an Irish dance show in the evening. The food is also very good. Reservations are a must!
