The Lovely Food Co, menu in Dublin

I wouldn't go so far to say the food or the company was "Lovely". I enjoyed my sambo, but my wife Bernadette was in a foul mood because I was rude to her sister Anne the night before. All in all lovely food maybe, but the company is as bad as Anne after 2 glasses of chardonnay.

Stopped for a takeaway sandwich while on the run. Ordered a BLT…tasted ok but it was the poorest BLT I’ve ever seen and at €10.95 seriously wasn’t worth it. Won’t be in any hurry to return.

We only stopped by for a glass of wine, but to our surprise, we ended up having one of the warmest and most welcoming experiences we’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel at home — friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. Even though we didn’t eat, they treated us like regulars. They recommended a fantastic wine, shared stories about the place, and made conversation that felt natural and sincere. It’s the kind of place that reminds you true hospitality still exists. The atmosphere was charming and cozy — one of those spots that stays with you. We’ll definitely be coming back, next time to enjoy the food as well. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

I'm so pleased we stumbled upon this place! We were a large group and we were so lucky they made space for us! Food is divine! Service is out of this world, and the coffee.....😍 Would recommend visiting this gem of a place! We have already decided we will revisit before our break in Dublin is over!

Amazing place, Tara was fantastic. We were a group of 12 and we're on a time crunch. Service was great and food was lovely. I ordered the house special
