We arrived a little early before check in time but couldn’t be checked in as their check in time is at 3. Came back at 3 and he said the room wasn’t ready and to wait for 15 mins. 30 mins later and room wasn’t ready.
Countless guest who arrived after us all got checked in quick. Like we were being punished for booking direct and being members.
He then downgraded us pretending it was an upgrade to a tiny shower room although the room we booked was with a bath and shower. We had a toddler with us.
Worst check in process we’ve ever experienced and the reception seating area is nonexistent so gets crowded and chaotic when busy.
Otherwise, location was perfect and the rest of the staff were all very pleasant to deal with.

Beautiful hotel, great Location close the sites of Dublin still quite and with stunning water views. Amazing breakfast offering, dinner and Bar serve superb menu, cocktails and an eclectic wine list that leaves no desire unanswered. Be sure to check out the roof top bar with its creative cheese/ wine/ cocktail pairing. Everyone in the hotel was ready to go above beyond to make our stay special. All staff members had great attention to detail and created a welcoming atmosphere at every opportunity.

The utmost LUXURIOUS stay. Clean hotel and rooms, professional and friendly staff, convenient location, delicious breakfast buffet. You MUST visit the spa facility with the indoor pool and hot tub. Truly such a memorable stay in my short time in Dublin

Had such a lovely stay at Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel. We were greeted at check-in by Jordan and Tomas. Tomas was so attentive and confidently answered all our questions. We were delivered a welcome letter by Jordan to our room, and the room was flawless. The highlight was its white marble bathroom with a walk-in shower, which we loved. We had dinner at Forbes Street by Gareth Mullins, and our server Made was really kind and helpful. We had a steak paired with a glass of red wine, and the steak was perfectly cooked. We then moved to the bar, where the manager Mathieu and our server Sebastian checked on us multiple times to ensure we were enjoying our drinks. Breakfast had so many options, we actually struggled to decide what to have! Overall, it was a great stay - congratulations to the staff for being so professional and warm, highly recommended!

We had a truly wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional — genuinely warm, attentive, and welcoming in a way that made us feel instantly at home.
The hotel itself is beautiful; modern, and thoughtfully designed, with a level of quality and comfort that exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere struck a perfect balance between premium comfort and hospitality. Set along the Grand Canal, the location was ideal — peaceful yet perfectly positioned for exploring the city on foot or by taxi. We loved the food and drinks, from the traditional Irish breakfast in the morning to the evening cocktails. The relaxing lounge area was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the city.
A very special thank you to Derek, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable and truly made us feel like family. He exemplified everything that great hospitality should be.
We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and look forward to returning. Thank you for everything!
