The Mercantile in Dublin

We had an excellent experience here. The staff are very friendly and inviting. When we arrive they helped with our bags and brought everything to the room l. John the Bellman was excellent. Very friendly and full of great conversation. Food in the restaurant was very good as well.

4 stars bc everything was nice except shower filled up on feet, but nice rooms. rude server at restaurant but also had a nice one. & front desk staff were fabulous, location felt safe but still had to walk a lot.

It was our first time in Dublin, and we stayed at the Mercantile for a few days. The location was perfect, and the staff was exceptional. Eliana was incredibly friendly and gave us a warm welcome. She recommended many wonderful places to visit and great restaurants to try, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again.

Met a friend here for dinner... hadn't seen her in almost 30 years, so the location had to be right! Couldn't have been better - great staff, great food - plus clean toilets. Also like that the EPOS system allowed me to add a tip. Too many places don't - and while I'm aware European servers are paid a reasonable wage, it's nice to have the chance to recognize great service without digging into pockets stuffed with pennies (for we married men) or fifties (for the single folk).

The rooms, although small, are very comfortable. The bathroom is excellent. The food is very good, the buffet has a wide variety of delicious dishes. The service, especially Marco, is very friendly and attentive.

Excellent hotel, very well located, very friendly staff and good service. Very good facilities. The rooms are clean and nice, although a bit small for what's typical. The breakfast is delicious!

The hotel is located in Dublin City center, which makes it a great location to walk almost everywhere. The rooms are small but perfect if you are planning to spend all day out, I love the decorations and hotel’s vibe. The restaurant service is great, the food and drink are delicious and the bakery is just perfect. Our server Marco was always attentive during breakfast , he is great and we had a great experience.

Great location to explore Dublin. Rooms are very small but manageable. Hotel is in excellent condition. Food & personnel outstanding.

Lovely hotel, rooms a bit small, but the staff were excellent, very friendly, and professional, especially Marisa, who was welcoming, always smiling, and knew how to manage her team. The service was quick and efficient. A very pleasant four-day stay!
