The Merry Cobbler in Dublin

Very nice place, nice staff, ok food. Very dog friendly, great atmosphere.

Love this spot. Will and team jump to provide great service. But the cherry on top of the great outdoor seating and convenient location would definitely be the food. I'm not pretending this is some fine dinning but it's some damn good causally awesome classics.

Used to drink here when the Clarke family owned it and what the new owner has done with the police is amazing. They do great food although the chicken skewers are a nightmare, I ruined a pair of expensive chinos trying to pull the chicken off the skewer as it’s mean to be eaten with a flat bread but everything else is amazing.

I attended my niece's birthday party she hired the room upstairs It was quite comfortable and nice atmosphere was nice The food was nice, but we waited for the bar person to man the bar for ober 1hour

A place with very good service and a good atmosphere. It's worth having a bite to eat and a drink here. Everything is delicious.

Great place for before and after a match or concert at the Aviva. Table service is good except for very busy periods before an event. Need to have more toilets.

Food was great. The waitress and the waiter were very helpful and polite. The restaurant itself was very cozy and welcoming. The only problem was the crowdy table whose 'inhhabitents' did not stop yelling and singing unpleasantly, showing there rear parts from time to time, and swearing like the authentic dwellers of the mews. But by the look on the other guests faces i can tell it was an accidental more than an usual story

Another publican recommended The Merry Cobbler to us so we walked another stretch to find this delightful place. Lots of cider and beer choices on tap with friendly and helpful service. My wife had the fish and chips featuring a huge hunk of cod. I chose the pulled pork tacos which had a very tasty assortment of toppings that enhanced the very flavourful pork. Lovely!

Not a lot was open Easter weekend but we found Merry Cobbler near our apartment. The atmosphere was warm and friendly with families celebrating, Premier League on the telly and lots of cozy side rooms. The service was very friendly and the bangers and mashed fantastic. My daughter gave the soft tacos a mid review but what do you expect from a pub, I said: It was a nice time and had a real neighborhood feel with a tasty meal. Dublin prices are crazy but we enjoyed the experience overall.
