The Merry Cobbler in Dublin

I’m reviewing the bar/restaurant and not the accommodation. Bar is great and very comfortable, plenty of seating and nooks and cranny’s to divide your party into a space with privacy no matter what the size. I spotted the chicken pie in the images here but it’s not on the menu anymore 😭. I opted for the spice bag and was disappointed. Spicy mayo? Should offer a curry sauce option. The chicken was chopped up poor quality chicken nuggets. Curley fries were just ok but the veg and chilli’s were great. A few tweaks and it could be a great dish.

Fantastic bartender who made the experience 10x better. Delish food, bangers and mash my personal fav.

This review is for the pub. A very nice pub, very good food, efficient service. Definitely worth a visit.

Very cute pub with rooms; our room was clean and the bathroom was quite newly renovated, super friendly staff, one can go to the pub downstairs for dinner/drinks; it’s not very central in Dublin but there are busses

Best to book rooms direct as cheaper. Reasonable menu (if a lot if chicken) and the usual array of pub drinks. Good service. Helpful staff.
