The Morgue Pub in Dublin

First visit and very happy ..food great and brill atmosphere plus great value too .

This is a fantastic pub. Large with food and great staff. Also, check out the clock with tram on the outside. Fabulous.

Food in the morgue is beyond compare, likewise service could be 11/10 but it can be very dingy in parts and probably needs a bit of a revamp

I thought it was very expensive for what it is. Which is pub food. It was 7e for garlic bread which was two small pieces. That’s crazy prices. It was 120e for 3 adult meals, 1 child’s plain pasta, garlic bread and 2 beers, one Coke Zero and a sprite. Just felt it was very expensive. The staff are nice but slow to come to the table and we were sitting beside the bar. I don’t think I’d come back and I wouldn’t recommend it. Food was average.

Carvery is excellent generally. Can be a rough crowd but overall nice atmosphere.

Service was great here. The floor manager (I think) was attentive, friendly and not afraid to have a laugh. Unfortunately the food is mediocre standard grub. Hard to tell if anything is made in house or just ordered in and heated up. Brie and accompanying sauce seemed fairly out of a packet. Garlic mushrooms had no seasoning. Ham and Turkey wasn't much more convincing and the veg that came with it was bland, soggy and not a seasoning in sight. Fairly overpriced for the standard it's given. Would return for the quality of service but I'd probably eat before arriving

Great place but you really need to go over the waitress to get service and when i did she said "can't take food orders only drinks" 🤣 i mean understandable but was sit there for an hour and was hard to get food. After that food was tasty and came in quick :P

Food was amazing, Eugene our waiter was a collectors item as you very very rarely get that level of friendly service anywhere anymore, it was a breath of fresh air and I asked for a dish to be altered and it was no hassle to them at all. Would highly recommend this place, a and the pasta, yum
