The Mustard Seed restaurant is an experience not to be missed. Situated in Echo Lodge, Ballingarry, Co. Limerick, a magnificent country house in beautiful grounds, it is a haven of luxury where you will be pampered from the start of your visit. Pre dinner drinks in the library are a must, then on to the dining room for a magnificent meal with excellent wines. John Edward and his team will go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful evening.

Both my husband and myself have just had the most enjoyable evening at The Mustard Seed. We have fortunately eaten there a few times and each time the menu teases with new showstoppers.John Edward is always so welcoming, accomodating, thoughtful and so professional which is so evidently passed down through all the staff. Thank you John Edward and staff for the beautiful evening.

Today, February 14th, Valentine's Day, brings back wonderful memories. It was here that we got married 13 years ago. I met my wife at an English academy in Limerick, and after a few years of dating in Spain, we returned to Ireland to get married in Adare and celebrate in this charming, elegant, and stately country house. We were treated like royalty at our intimate and special wedding.
Restaurant with local products and exquisite cuisine.
We're back in Spain now, but Ireland is like our second home. We now have two children, and we named our little one Éire.
This place will always hold a special place in our hearts.

We stumbled upon this hotel in the Blue Book while searching for a small wedding venue. The food photos looked so incredible that we decided to make the trip from Sligo just to try it—and we were not disappointed. The dining experience felt like being in a fine French restaurant.
The wine selection was beautiful, and the food was equally impressive. Standout highlights included the sole starter and the mushroom & leek soup. The fillet of beef was easily the best I’ve ever had. Breakfast was also fantastic; the rhubarb fruit salad was truly unique and delicious.
We were definitely the youngest couple there by about 20 years 😂, but if you truly appreciate high-quality food, I cannot recommend this place enough!
