I very rarely leave feedback but I must say that this bakery is a lovely place to sit and relax, but above all, the customer service by the baker (Eileen) was second to none and she did an excellent job preparing my daughter’s vegan & gluten free birthday cake.. thank you!

Most of the customers here are elderly retirees. We had the lemon tartlet and tiramisu cake - both are average.

Staff are always so friendly and helpful. A great cafe if you’re looking for a place to have a delicious treat and good coffee.

14/02/2025: What a wonderful place to be in blackrock! The staff at insomnia were fantastic, increadibly kind and helpful after I accidentally spilt my coffee, they couldn’t have been nicer, and made me a fresh one! Great service and great coffee. Well done to the team!
