The Norseman in Dublin

The music was so loud, it was impossible to hold a conversation. We asked that the volume be turned down several times to no avail. The place was full of tourists but they are definitely not getting the genuine Irish pub as there was zero chat and therefore no craic. We eventually went upstairs to the restaurant to get some relief from the noise. It was still quite loud but at least we could have a conversation and the food was pretty good. I don't understand the need to play music at such a deafening pitch. It is a shame as this is a lovely place but we won't go back.

Very Irish pub, not much tourism. Very good live music. And there is a very kind girl from Seville who has helped me a lot with the language. As for the food, it can't be anything because I only drank beer.

The review is a for the bar and pub and not the hotel. Excellent bar and selection with great music and a comfortable space to engage with people. Sadly the bartend”her” was absolutely arrogant unnowledgable not decently friendly. As with most service staff nowadays that for the most part gen z the lack of hospitality is truly remorseful. Why work in Hospitality if you think you’re above it. I mean it is a real profession so don’t disrespect it with your lack of knowledge empathy and respect for the customer.

Service was fast, we only stayed for a drink but we enjoyed it and it was affordable. The vibes were okay but not amazing.

Great location and a fantastic selection of drinks available. We didn't eat but the food looked amazing and diners around us seemed very happy with it. Bar staff very friendly and live music was on too

We stayed here and went to the pub on all four days. I can't report anything about the food, but the beer selection (including our own lagers and IPAs) impressed us. Anyone who stays here has the perfect starting point. It couldn't be more central!

Delicious beer and food with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I didn't stay here so can't comment on the stay.

Spacious pub with table serving. Card and cash payment possible. Great live music and atmosphere. Get the Nachos, it's worth the money. I saw the burger and I believe they are too pricey.
