Gem of a spot. Best bar staff in Navan, along with the bonus of an outstanding Chinese restaurant. Pints right up there with the best. Owner Dings cameos a bonus!

The Gate

04/05/2025: The Gate restaurant was a great find on our recent trip to Ireland. It's a small place with outstanding food and service. All the food is prepared fresh and our waitress, Trays, couldn't have been nicer. When she heard we were touring around she was very helpful and made several recommendations on what we should see first and where. It was a rainy day and she went outside with us, in the cold and rain, to take a picture of us to help remember the restaurant. I highly recommend you stop by to the Gate restaurant if you happen to be in the area when visiting Ireland.

28/06/2025: Always absolutely excellent. Never ever had a complaint. My son and I stuck to the pad Thai, we should really try other dishes but it's far too good. The freshest of ingredients and authentic recipes. Leaves you feeling good after, unlike other unhealthy places. If we could give it a million stars we would
