The Old Stand in Dublin

Great bar in a very central location. Its always busy which is a great sign in itself.

Just wants to say a word about Joe! He is the perfect example what is the Irish Welcome! We went to the pub to eat but they couldnt offer the food we wanted so we said good bye and left. He came out to the street after us and reserved a table in a nice restaurant in a phone Call. He walked us over the place. We had a nice chat with him. Never experienced anything like this before! We had a great dinner, best Burger in that pub! Thank you Joe! We will be back for a drink!

Quick efficient service, only went for drinks

Beautiful place for a drink in the center of Dublin. Everything you'd expect from a place that's over 300 years old. Great pint of Guinness in it.

A traditional Irish pub, highly recommended. A hospitable owner who recognizes and welcomes you even on your second visit.

I was in Dublin, so I popped in as my uncle used to go here a lot, he was at Trinity college in the 60's

This is a bar with good selection of beer, wine and tea, but no food. Great guy, Joe is running the bar. Asked for a recommendation for dinner and music. He not only suggested two places, but called ahead and walked us to the first!

Perfect spot to step out of the rain for beverages. Good service. Nice folks. Classic Irish pub feel with good attention to the details. Men’s bathroom (that I used) was downstairs so might be a hindrance for those who have mobility challenges.
