Amazing place! The tasting menu was excellent, one of the best meals I've had. Nice selection of options for each course. Great service but also very relaxed and not overly formal. Would love to go back. Need to book far in advance if you are only in the area for a short holiday.

First time visiting the Olde Glen Bar, enjoyed the great food & drink. Class atmosphere and the waiters Emma and Selia were excellent from when we arrived until we left. We'll be back soon đź‘Ť

The place is one of the loveliest I've seen in Ireland. The food was very cheap, though the huge quantities, and was good. Very good was the service as well, because the staff was very friendly and nice. I loved it

Ardgillan Castle and Demesne

02/09/2026: Definitely one of the most beautiful places I have visited near Dublin! Ardgillan Castle is amazing, especially the gardens, the castle and the views of the sea. The best part is that the park is free to visit. It is a great place to walk around, take pictures, have a picnic or just relax and enjoy the views. Definitely worth visiting, especially on a sunny day. I will definitely come back!

23/08/2026: Really bustling and busy pit stop for motorists on a holiday weekend. Great choice of dining options. Good shop and toilet facilities. Nice, friendly atmosphere. Great to see Tourist Information Available and free Fáilte Ireland travel guides for the neighbouring counties. Quite unique. The concept should be expanded to other motorway piazzas.
