The Port House in Dublin

The food and staff are great. There can be a bit of pressure to get the table back, but it's a busy spot.

Unfortunately we went with high expectations as this place was recommended to us... Just to end up being really disappointed. The restaurant itself is really nice and cosy, and the waitress and everyone working are it are lovely. However, the food wasn't great. The cheese board was very poor - 4 slices of cheese, crumbs of goats cheese and some sauces. Then the other tapas platters were disappointing too, empanadas were mostly tomato sauce and no filling, chicken skewers were chewy, and the calamary is mostly American style. For the price, It is absolutely NOT worth it. I wouldn't go back and I'm not sure why this has that many good reviews....

Found this place by chance on st stephens day (boxing day) was left very impressed! We are mad for all things tapas, the tapas range was on point with all the classics and a few innovative dishes. All plates were prepared perfectly, the service was good, which given how packed the place was (on a where most places were closed, so they probably not ready for it). The atmosphere was great with tasteful finish and lighting. We have been back a few times now and it is always good. Would highly recommend!

Lovely place , the food is nice , but not amazing , but not Vegan the music is a bit loud we had to wait for 20 minutes to fins a seat the boys who serve are more nice than the girls( they don’t smile😀)

That will always be my favorite place in Dublin. Romantic and classic. Always a great choice.

Great tapas and atmosphere! They offered Gluten Free options including bread. Staff was professional and friendly too.

We had dinner at the Port House on New Year's Eve. We arrived on the early side after moving our reservation, and were seated right away in a cosy nook. The food came out relatively quickly, and everything was delicious. Given that it was New Year's Eve, and things got very busy very quickly, the service was decent. I'd definitely go back.

Visitó Port House en William Street y en general fue una experiencia muy agradable. Había un ambiente muy agradable en el interior, estaba ocupado, pero el servicio era relativamente rápido con los únicos retrasos es esperar a que se entregaran bebidas, pero podemos perdonar esto en función del volumen de personas. La comida era exactamente como era de esperar, muy sabroso y auténtico. El caballero que nos atiende fue muy educado, paciente y aseguró que éramos felices. Lo único que lamento es no haber recibido su nombre. Hubo una decepción y fue una breve interacción que tuvimos con una camarera, al dejar caer los postres a nuestra mesa mi esposa preguntó por una bebida que había pedido antes y la señora respondió sin rodeos "pregunta a los chicos, estoy ocupada" y siguió caminando. Esto se lo mencioné al caballero mientras resolvíamos el proyecto de ley y me complace decir que se lo tomó muy en serio y espero que puedan volver a entrenar a esta dama en particular. Sin duda volvería ya que la relación calidad-precio es muy buena, la comida y las bebidas eran buenas y en general el personal era servicial y profesional con solo una pequeña experiencia desagradable.
