The Port House in Dublin

All the food was excellent, we got meatballs, croquettes, prawns, rice and chicken, pardon peppers & patatas bravas. I would recommend all of those dishes. The staff were so friendly and efficient.

I had previously eaten here a few times over the years and always enjoyed it. I was really disappointed this time. Food was mediocre at best and service was not good. Friendly and polite staff but extremely slow and inefficient.

Such a lovely spot for a meal with friends. The tapas menu is perfect for a group because you can just order a good mix of things and share everything between you. I always think tapas sounds like you might still be hungry afterwards, but we definitely weren’t. We got a really nice selection and it was actually very filling. The sangria was so good too, and I just really liked the atmosphere in here. We didn’t have a reservation and still managed to get a table, which was ideal. Really nice evening overall.

Stopped in here on a whim because the menu had my favorite cheese, manchego, which is the last thing I thought would be on a menu in Dublin, as it’s a Spanish sheep’s cheese. We were sat on the “patio” (not actually outside it is covered) because we didn’t have a reservation but I would prefer sitting out there, personal preference. Everything here is amazing 10/10, no, 12/10 literally perfect. Chicken paella and Spanish omelet are to die for. You also NEED a glass of the Floralis Moscatel for dessert so so so good, don’t forget to smell it first, it should’ve been a purfume before a wine i’m telling ya. Finally, last but definitely not least, Marissa is an exceptional waitress and maybe deserves a raise???👀👀✍️

Always come here for dinner when I'm home. The tapas plates are delicious and the staff are really helpful with choices. Great wine list.

It's a Spanish tapas bar. You can try different tapas. We ordered a variety of dishes. They were all delicious! I recommend the acorn-fed Iberian ham, the croquettes, and the garlic shrimp. We had a Tempranillo wine, which was very tasty. The service was excellent. The only downsides were that the tortilla wasn't cooked until runny and didn't have onions (even though the menu said it did), and the place is quite noisy. We had to shout to talk to each other. Everything else was excellent.

So glad we found this restaurant. It was our first night in Dublin. Delicious food. Good selection for a vegetarian too. Friendly welcoming staff. Lovely setting. Loved the fairy lights. Really liked the tick box menus. Recommended & we’ll come back if we’re ever in Dublin again. Thank you
