The Portobello Bar in Dublin

A very nice bar with good food. The traditional Irish stew was excellent. The Guinness and the service were also top-notch.

We checked into the hotel and went out for food and drinks. We went into Portobello Bar and were pleasantly surprised. The place is a real Irish pub, with a great atmosphere. We were served by Clodagh, and the service was excellent—super friendly and very fast. The beer was cold, and the food was excellent. We ordered a portion of fries and some chicken wings. The bar has a great vibe and must get quite busy at night, making it a good option for dinner or drinks.

Bar has a great atmosphere, love the lighting, very clean, security was...fine, apart from one drunk weirdo when i went, didnt kick him out for harassing people.

A good spot to go for a late night drink and a dance. The club itself is very nice and modern decor....drink reasonable enough ...floor staff are a little annoying as one in particular circled our table too often straight after buying drinks ....this was off putting so this could definitely & easily fixed...

Portable Bar — Absolutely Fantastic Experience We visited Portable Bar for the carvery and were genuinely impressed from start to finish. The carvery was superb — quite possibly one of the best I’ve had in a pub. The food was beautifully presented, full of flavour and clearly prepared with care. There was a great selection, and everything we tried was excellent. What really stood out, though, was the staff. It’s becoming increasingly rare to receive such a warm welcome, but here every member of staff we encountered was courteous, friendly and genuinely welcoming. We were greeted by Dave with a hello and a smile, and that level of friendliness continued throughout our visit. It makes a huge difference to the overall experience. The pub itself has a lovely ambience — relaxed, comfortable and inviting. It was also exceptionally clean and well maintained, which is something I always appreciate when visiting a pub for food. Overall, Portable Bar delivered on every level: fantastic food, excellent service, a welcoming atmosphere and a spotlessly clean premises. A genuinely enjoyable experience and somewhere we’ll definitely be returning to. We’ll be back for more of that carvery!

Veggies, potatoes, salmon, chicken wings, all very good. Good value. Nice place. Ate at the restaurant here.

A great pub, good range of drinks and nice food. Toilets were clean. Nice atmosphere too.
