27/07/2025: A lesson in how to take a nice local pub and turn it into a kip. No taste. They put up a white upvc ceiling. Obviously owned by someone who has no taste.

20/07/2025: Lounge was closed for nearly a year for refurbishment and has now reopened. Although there have being improvements in the overall decor the lounge it impractical for groups of more than 4 people as the new bench seating cannot accommodate more than four comfortably and now resembles Eddie Rockets restaurants and not a lounge bar . Maybe thats what the Landlord wants
