Lovely bar and atmosphere. Quality food and service.

Recently walked in here with myself and wife after reading menu outside on a recent day trip to Dalkey. Great old world pub feel but not dated . Food did not disappoint . It was amazing !! Perfectly cooked and seasoned . Compliments to the chef once again ! My wife had the beef which was melt in your mouth perfect. I had the pork belly and which was scrumptious everything on the plate really complimented each other . Pints were savage and the service staff were attentive and helpful with any menu questions we had . Would definitely drop in again when in area . Only criticism I have is that it’s not closer to my home !!! Well done all 👏

I liked the atmosphere and the decor a lot. The servers were polite and helpful. We had to wait for a little while to order our food. I really enjoyed my marinated beetroots with whipped goats cheese. The seafood chowder on the other hand, lacked seasoning. Quite tastles as my husband said. I guess we'll have to come back to taste the mains 😉

Queens Bar - Koudos to Ross! We had a beach walk in Killiney today My husband’s Mam passed away on St Stephen’s Day and we needed the fresh air. The funeral will be abroad and will take time but nice to meet a young professional friendly man on a difficult day 👍

I never usually write reviews but the service here was so phenomenal the other night that i just have to! The bouncer was so lovely and welcoming, which unfortunately was not the case for the other pubs in Dalkey on Christmas Eve. The service was relatively fast, despite how busy it was. The whole bar staff were really on the ball. They had also turned the whole bar into a club. They had a dj and strobe lights. It was quite unique. Will definitely be going back here for next Christmas Eve! Maybe even New Years too.

The fish and chips were good but my wife had to send back the burger as it was raw in the centre.. place was a bit noisy too

Went with old school friends. We all enjoyed the service and quality. Great atmosphere, without being full.

We went into the Queen’s pub as a group intended on carrying out our Kris Kindle. We were allowed to put together tables by the wonderful Lisa and the bartenders were of excellent service throughout the night, however, when carrying out our kris kindle presentation, a man felt the need to introduce himself as the manager and told us to be quiet in a very rude, aggressive manner. We had planned on staying the whole night in Queen’s , however, this man’s attitude toward us, as patrons, was disconscerning. We no longer wanted to imbibe within Queens as we felt unwelcome. It is a shame this happened as the staff were so accomodating to us previously, much respect to them.

We popped out here at the very busy Christmas weekend. Couldn't commend the staff more, they were so pleasant in spite of it being incredibly hectic. The staff ensured we were well looked after while we waited for our table (we arrived early so totally on us). Food was lovely and drinks were divine!

I expected the food to be better. I found my risotto a bit bland. Overall a nice place.
