One bartender really had an attitude- don't know why

The food was good for pub fare. Just on a side note, they have a large seating area outside at the back of the premises which is lovely except they don't serve food in that area. There shoud be signs to let people know and also the staff should inform people if the clients were looking for an outside table at the front previously..

Had a wonderful lunch with drinks

We stayed at Fitzpatrick Castle up the road and visited The Queens Bar for our final meal before heading to the next leg of our trip. It was one of the only places in Dalkey that could easily accommodate our family of five. I know it's crazy to say, considering I grew up in Buffalo, NY, but this place had some of the best buffalo wings I've ever had, and the portion was enough to feed my very hungry teenage son, with several wings to spare for the rest of the family. My mother raved about the mussels in white wine sauce, and I was happy with my avocado toast with smoked salmon. The service was friendly and attentive. If you want a nice meal with some drinks, I think you could do a lot worse. I'm not sure about the beer garden in the back, since we only went out there for a minute to check it out, but given the ashtrays I encountered I'd probably not recommend it if smokers would bother you.

Came here for the lobster festival - went outside to one of the bars and Caoillnn was incredible ! She handled the business so well that myself and my friend asked for her name and wanted to make sure she got her recognition !! Will be back

Great pub food, I had the most generous portion of fish and chips I ever had. I was quite simply astounded at my meal when it was presented to me. The fish portion dwarfed everything. Friendly staff without exception, average prices but bigger by far than average portions. You can judge for yourself using the fork on the picture, sadly however this establishment has changed hands recently and the portions are much smaller, a little salad has been added to the fish meal but does not make up if you are hungry.

Went here for a drink on a Saturday evening. The venue is gorgeous, especially the garden area in the sunshine. The staff are lovely to deal with. Special Thanks to Nicolas for looking after us. A highly recommended venue.
