The Railway House in Muinebeag

Love it love it love it food brilliant staff excellent perfect for day trip on train few pints dinner and short walk to the station

First night in Ireland and this pub made for a great evening. The food was really great: the burgers, the vol-au-vents, the kids' meals were classic but very good. Excellent value for money and friendly staff. I recommend it.

Prise of food can't beat it great value for good food

We stopped at The Railway House for lunch. It wasn't too busy as we'd missed the lunch rush, so it was a bit quiet. We were served by a friendly waitress & they also had a gluten free option. We ordered the Caesar Salad & the GF chicken salad sandwich, which came with chips, & coleslaw. The food was fresh, hot & delicious. The bill was approx €20 for both. I recommend The Railway House. Good service, good value & delicious food.

Dinner here war just perfect, with live music in the corner playing Oasis songs... couldn't imagine something better

The best Irish breakfasts in a natural setting in Bagenalstown.

"Visited the night before running a half marathon and the staff could not have been more accommodating! They perfectly customized my pre-race meal to keep it runner-friendly and delicious. Fantastic service, friendly atmosphere, and highly recommended!"
