Spent some time there just this weekend. Fantastic atmosphere and lovely staff. The decor is wonderful and it’s a surprisingly big bar! Would happily be back next time we are in the area.

We had an event at the royal meath weekend just gone and it went SO well, mostly down to the well managed team at the Royal Meath. They couldnt have been friendly and more helpful. Great atmosphere and we will defo be back for a few pints!!!

11/10/2025: Lovely little place with friendly staff. We come here regularly and the quality has always been consistent. Its a real gem of a place. The large breakfast is great. Vegetarian breakfast available also which is great.
11/08/2025: The best breakfast I've ever had and my wife was very happy with her vegetarian breakfast, Very pleasant staff and reasonably priced. Definitely will go back when I'm in the area again.

15/03/2026: Lovely first time experience, lovely people and amazing food, such a reasonable price also, even received a gift leaving for the occasion of Mother’s Day, so thoughtful and made it extra special for the occasion. Definitely recommend ❤️
07/03/2026: Great food, and staff were all kind and attentive, unfortunately we were upstairs where there are far too many tables including one large group that made the noise levels unbearable, we had to skip dessert because we could not stand the noise levels, far beyond what would be expected of a busy Saturday
