Such beautiful food, and such beautiful human beings, we had two days in Dublin and came here both days! When we arrived - without a booking - the sumptuous aromas were enough to convince us that we must try their fare; however, the house was full and there were no tables outside. Luckily, two spaces opened up at the bar, giving us a perfect vantage-point on the chef's joyful preparation of our seafood chowder and broiled seafood bass. The Ukrainian share-bread is also not to be missed. The next day we had the bar prawns, crab with egg and sourdough crisps, second round of seafood chowder, and smoked trout plate. The food together with the warm and gracious house staff makes the Seafood Cafe truly memorable, worth experiencing many times!

Excellent food (delicius aysters) and an amazing waiter: Guilherme from Brazil! He locked my e-bike with a long chain of the restaurant attached to a wall and made space moving tables and other barriers in the cold outside to make it secure from thief. I never received a better service in a restaurant! Highly recommended also for that!

Easily the best meal I’ve had in Dublin. Everything at “The Seafood Cafe” looks delicious, and everything tastes as delicious as it looks. The open kitchen is conversational and friendly, ideal for a date night. I could not believe how delicious the seafood chowder was, and the tiramisu is second to none.

Small but with great food and service. We tried the oysters from 4 different regions in Ireland, white wine and tiramisu for dessert. Simple but tasty and comforting. Will be back for sure 😀

Cozy place, excellent service and the food oh so so delicious. My personal highlight was the garlic bread out of the starters (we had it as desert) - truly from another world. Oysters were fresh - we really appreciated that we could try and compare multiple types of oysters. The mussels were also super tasty - we couldn't even leave the sauce there, it could be eaten by the spoon! Just altogether an amazing experience. Thank you.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely spot. The oysters were fresh and absolutely delicious, with a fantastic selection that featured different varieties from both local and international waters. Each oyster had its own distinct flavour, ranging from clean and briny to rich and buttery, giving us a real treat for the taste buds. The selection was thoughtfully curated, offering options for every preference—whether you like them a bit more savoury or with a milder, sweeter taste. They were served with a range of accompaniments like tangy mignonette, lemon wedges, and some creative toppings that added an extra layer of flavour. The mocktails were both creative and full of flavour, a perfect complement to the oysters. The staff were friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a cosy space that’s been thoughtfully designed. The art and décor are done with a personal touch, giving the place a unique, almost homely feel. I especially enjoyed the oysters—well worth a try. All in all, it’s a place that blends great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a memorable spot to visit.
