The prawn carpaccio was a thing of beauty. I’m still thinking about it now. The fish and chips, though pricey, were more than worth it. Huge fish, crispy batter, beautifully cooked. The squid and pea salad was exquisite. Basically everything we ordered was lovely, service was friendly, and the ambience was great. Would definitely return.

We went 2 nights running. Staff was super attentive even though it was nearly full-house. Food was fabulous. Monkfish, mussels, oysters, scallop saffron risotto, gooseberry fool, tiramisu all devoured and savoured. Will be back next time we're in Dublin!

We had a table outside on the small terrace; the oysters were great; pasta and everything else was good to very good.

If you're ever strolling through Dublin and find yourself craving some seriously fresh seafood, make a beeline for The Seafood Café by Niall Sabongi. My recent visit was a delightful, albeit unplanned, culinary detour that absolutely made my day.
Happy Hour Oysters & Dublin Bay Prawns
We initially popped into this charming little bistro for their happy hour oysters, and let me tell you, they were absolutely delicious. Briny, fresh, and perfectly shucked, they were the ideal in-between-meal treat.
But the real showstopper, which I almost missed, was on the menu under the name "Dublin Bay Prawns." To my immense delight, these were actually langoustines—my absolute favorite! They were cooked to perfection, sweet and tender, and truly a highlight of the meal. Paired with a crisp bottle of Picpoul, this impromptu seafood feast turned a regular afternoon into something truly special.
I'll definitely be back to The Seafood Café. It's a must-visit for any seafood lover!

Visited this place yesterday. The oysters were excellent, but there are other issues. Mainly, we were given the wrong bill (over 50 euros higher) and had to deal with it and waste time to get it recalculated correctly. Further, we were not informed that on top of the bill they charge a mandatory 10% service fee. This was not mentioned, we were informed upon the fact. But after such a mistake in the receipt, it was strange that we paid for the service, as it was average, to say the least.
And a question about the dessert - I don't recommend their Eton mess, it's incredibly small for one spoonful and the price is standard.

Great place to have seafood in Dublin. The oyster is great here! Don’t miss it! The service is very nice. When things are running out, they would replace it with something in house. The lady would explain the bill up front which also made me feel more comfortable. Would definitely stop by again next time visiting Dublin.
