The Silver Penny in Dublin

Great value for money. Of course it's not a typical small pub like the Celt, but for cheap food and a beer, it's perfectly fine and I recommend it.

Popped in for a Beamish and a pizza. Beautiful building. Pint and a pizza were great. Was busy but staff were fantastic. Friendly door staff too. Recommend.

Fastest service possible in a Saturday night, when all the tables were occupied and people waiting for a table. Nice atmosphere.

It's still "fast food." You can't expect quality, but everything is pretty good. You walk in, sit down, and use the QR code to enter your table, order, pay, and they bring it to you. You don't even have to leave your table.

Standard wetherspoon, food and drink is all fine and good prices. The Silver Penny is a nice building, well-located and easy to get to. Service is good but the toilets are awful. They really need to be checked and cleaned more often.

The place is such in a good position it's impossible to miss. To order you use an app, you just have to insert the place you're in and then the number of the table and you're good to go. I went there on a Saturday night and it was packed, so you better go there reaaally early. They don't let in people younger than 18 years old so no kids allowed to the bar (ofc). The food is okay, nothing out of the ordinary. The service is kinda slow, but again the place was full to the brim with people. The servers are okay, they're just doing their job and dealing with drunkards so I don't blame them if they aren't being exeptionally cheerful. The atmosphere was okay too, the place itself is a stunning, old-fashioned, bar, but the clients aren't particularly nice to other clients or servers. Only downside, which I don't blame at all on the staff, was that while we were someone had puked all over the stairs. I have no idea if it was cleaned in the meantime or only after the pub closed. The bouncers were also funny and joked around with you but that didn't compromise their job in any way. Overall a good experience, I highly advice this place. Unfortunately it isn't wheelchair accessible.

Typical Weatherspoon if you want to order fast go to the bar

It's known to be a cheap and affordable place, but it isn't considered cheap for the food quality. You'll have to scream to continue the conversation, since the place is deafening... Definitely avoid at all costs on weekends

Nice place, good music, and shabby chic. The ramen soup was good, but not the best I've ever had. The fries and vegan burger were pretty good.
