The Silver Penny in Dublin

I recently visited The Silver Penny by J D Wetherspoon and had a really pleasant experience. The place has a lively atmosphere, friendly staff, and great value for money. Food and drinks were served quickly, and everything was fresh and satisfying. It’s a convenient spot to relax with friends or grab a casual meal in the city. I’d definitely visit again!

This is a lovely building just off O Connell st. It can be busy at the weekends with a very young crowd. But at other times it's a nice easy atmosphere. Also, it's a pub. Don't be expecting Michelin star food.

The style of service that thry have i like it. You can order from your table with no necessity to go to the counter. The food is really nice.

Standard weatherspoons. Cheap beer and food.check. Cask beer..check.

I had to request my order after waiting 20 minutes and the girl said that she brought my order already wich wasn't true so went back to the kitchen my burger was still there and a little bit cold

Nice creamy pints. Long way to the toilet though. Lift was awesome though.

Cheap and one of the best Pub but always full during the weekend !!

Cheap and good burgers, drinks included, so for 17 euros we had a burger with fries and onion rings and a pint of Guinness. We went back twice, with different burgers, and it was very good. Highly recommended, it gets very busy.

Awesome place hard to believe it's a spoons a lot different to the spoons back home in UK Wales
