The Silver Penny in Dublin

Unfortunately, this chain's pub isn't that nice in comparison. It is very, very large, but not particularly visually appealing. The employees seem totally overwhelmed, especially when there is a lot going on here. Interestingly, you wait significantly less time for your food than for your drink. With a normal soft drink, this can take 15-20 minutes. After our beer still wasn't there after 45 minutes, we had to ask at the bar ourselves and got it there after ages of back and forth. If there's not much going on, you can certainly do it here because it's cheaper than usual. The food tastes okay and is also warm.

What you see is what you get. I would say this is a pretty average pub. Cheap and cheerful pints and drinks. Food is pretty alright, never have had issues of any sort with food or drinks here. Being able to order directly to the table Via the app is definitely a perk! Place is usually always busy and loud so if you're looking for just a quiet drink go elsewhere. Would also like to add that there is a smoking garden and there is a kids food menu available.

Nice fry up before midday for 5e.. I would suggest that yellow line from the front door stating "your next" as too many punters believe their next. Also staff need a chance to put the empties to be cleaned.!
