The Stableyard Cafe, Stable Yard, Cabinteely Park in Dublin

Lovely & affordable food in a very pretty location.

Went here this morning with a friend for tea & scones. Lovely cafe with a good selection and a beautiful Japanese Style garden out back with lots of tables. I had popped over yesterday to see if I could reserve a table in a particular area (required due to a medical condition). They don't normally take reservations, but I was delighted this morning to see they had saved me a table in the area I requested, even though they were pretty busy. That was very nice of them - I'll definitely be back because of this kind gesture - and the food is lovely!

Decent coffee and a nice range of sweets and savoury pastries. I recommend the sausage roll. It's not a huge cafe and can get very busy at times, with long lines to order at the till.
