The Temple Bar Whiskey & Tobacco Shop in Dublin

What a treat this whisky shop is! Put it on your must see list if you are visiting Dublin, especially if you or someone you love is a whisky drinker(or cigar smoker)! My husband enjoys a good whisky , so I stopped in to talk to the experts and find some perfect products for his future gifts! I would have loved a way to ship it to him, but I’ll order on line what they recommended based on my knowledge of what his whisky preferences and what he’s had so far. They offer whiskeys you can’t get in America, so that is a huge bonus! Also, I found out that you can take up to 2 liters on the plane! Good to know for next time. Gaia and her managers were all lovely! Gaia took her time with me while also tending to the others in the busy shop! So knowledgeable, kind and helpful! Thank you for a great experience! I can’t wait to visit again with my husband-he will absolutely love it!!!

We stopped at the whiskey bar and were looked after by Augustin. A lovely experience! Augustin definitely loves his job, and is very enthusiastic about the whiskey. A highlight of our visit to Dublin!

Small but very atmospheric whiskey shop right in the middle of Temple Bar. Great selection of Irish whiskeys, cigars, glasses and gift ideas. From the outside the place almost looks like something from an old Dublin movie. A perfect stop if you enjoy Irish whiskey culture.
