Hidden gem! The food (buttermilk chicken tenders to be precise) is 10/10, nicer than any sole chicken spot in Dublin which says it all, nice polite staff too.

14 of us visited The Village Inn yesterday, for a celebratory meal for our 2nd year anniversary of our local walking group called Walk and Talk Finglas. We were instantly made feel welcomed by the staff and had personalised menus made up for us which was a very pleasant surprise!! We all had vegetable soup and brown bread to start which was lovely. We then all had the carvery which there was loads on the plate, all cooked freshly, followed by jelly and ice cream and then scones with jam and cream too!! Honestly, the 14 of us were stuffed for the day!! The 2 girl waitress could not do enough to make sure all was in order and the chef even came out to chat to us to make sure we were happy with our 4 course meal!! A very enjoyable celebratory meal was had by all! We will be back again!

Fair play to everyone at The Village Inn. The new menu is a massive step up. The food is absolutely gorgeous and looks as good as it tastes. Great pints, lovely atmosphere, and the staff are sound. If you haven't tried the new menu yet, you're missing out. We'll definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The staff were lovely very friendly and very helpful nothing was a problem. Excellent service skills 👏 the food was delicious freshly made and there scones were WOW delicious. 💯 lovely atmosphere in there, we will definitely call in again soon. Well recommended a big thank you to the chefs, 💯

We used the function today for our christening. Dan was more then helpful in booking the room. We had Bobby the bar man with us for the day absolutel gentleman. And the food was tops id highly recommend the village inn for any party's or just for food. Thanks again to all the staff for a fantastic day.
