The Viscount in Dublin

21/03/2024: My first trip to Ireland, and I’m happy to have stumbled on this little gem! The chef was a delight to hear stories, and his knowledge and enthusiasm for South African wines was fantastic. I had the cream of mushroom soup, which is the best I have had, then I enjoyed a lobster dish and was told it came locally, which is nice to see. I ended with the fried ice cream with butterscotch… so good and I loved it!!

20/03/2024: We had an incredible meal in Daniel’s, we shared the crayfish cocktail, deep fired Brie and the scallops, absolutely gorgeous For mains we went for the rib eye, lobster Thermidor, the plaice ( both goujons and fillets), faultless An unassuming old school restaurant in Glasthule which is an absolute treat
