Historic pub themed on the voyages to the United States on ships during the Great Famine. You can see photos of the conditions of the voyage and the immigrants' lives. Reasonably priced pints surrounded by history.

Had a lovely time tonight with great food. Slightly spoiled by some rude American attitudes towards the place but the staff were perfect in handling it. They were very attentive and everything was v tasty and filling. Thank you very much

The service is great here. They are welcoming and as a tourist, it’s nice to walk in and hear Irish music playing. Everyone is smiling and even the customers were pleasant. They do give a lot of homage to the US by having Irish American Presidents on the wall. They also have NFL team flags on the wall and windows. Soup was delicious and a 10/10. The burger was 8/10. Good, but nothing to rave about. 4.8/5 and would recommend.

29/07/2025: An absolute insider tip. The pubs on Fleet Street were completely packed. We then spotted this one and were able to enjoy some really great live music twice, and without the crowds.
26/07/2025: Good seafood chowder and yummy brown bread. Nice to find an IPA on tap. The musicians were really talented!

30/09/2025: Enjoyed a very special 20th birthday meal with our son and his siblings. From the moment we arrived, the staff were fantastic. Very prompt service and the food was really good. I enjoyed the best mussels starters that I’ve had in a while. The main courses were excellent, particularly the fillet and the steak sandwich. At the end of our meal, The staff brought a complimentary dessert to our son AND sang a brilliant happy birthday (Italian tenor style!) A very memorable meal and we will definitely go back….
