Lovely cosy restaurant and extremely friendly service. Unfortunately the food was just OK- pleasant but nothing to write home about. Still, a nice cosy spot for a casual family meal.

I really wanted to love this place as I’m quite local and I’ve heard so many good things! On entering, it has a lovely cosy feel and I was seated comfortably on a chair with a cushion. (Many chairs there were just wooden hard back chairs). I love comfort when I’m dining. Wine- fab n the young waitress kindly let me taste two white wines so that I could make an informed decision. I just had the treacle bread to start which was nice. Steak for my main with “real chips” as they were described. They were very undercooked for all three diners to the point that we sent them back and I had to decide whether to eat my steak without the chips or let it go cold and eat them together. I ate the steak without the chips. I felt it was quite tough for €38. There are other local places that would do a fab steak - Skylon, Restaurant 104, Fagans. It’s quite a limited menu so they should be able to excel in those choices. The manager/ maitre d’ approached our table a few times clearing things away, offering the bill etc so we did feel rushed out. I feel like this place is like the emperors new clothes. I just wouldn’t rave about it. But the wine was delicious!!

This is the nicest restaurant I’ve been in in the Glasnevin area. Food was really delicious and light especially really well cooked pork and fish plus the service was really excellent and the atmosphere was lovely. I’ll definitely go again.

Enjoyed a really lovely Brunch here. 4 different dishes and everyone enjoyed their food. Portions were big and the menu had a good variety of choices. Always enjoy eating here.

Early dinner in this restaurant that was warm and welcoming. I'm not sure why but it was the roasted veggie plate that really caught my eye this evening and I'm glad I did it. I had a full platter of deliciousness! Grilled sweet potato, braised eggplant (they call them aubergine here), brown rice and cucumber salad. A variety of flavors and textures, all full of spicy taste! A lovely meal with a tin of Irish beer. Yum! They do have the absolute tiniest restroom here. It is not handicapped accessible.

Quality food and excellent service as always

Loved the washerwoman! We came here as 2 couples for Sunday lunch. The atmosphere inside is very relaxed but nice background music and ambience. The staff are so friendly and all have a smile, and leave you to yourselves as long as you want to be there! We got the potato hash and it was delicious, definitely the best one I’ve ever had. The coffee was really good too. We also tried the sweetcorn fritters and Nutella and banana pancakes. I will definitely come back and try the evening dinner menu, one of the nicest places I’ve ate in all of Dublin. Proper hearty Irish food.
