The Washerwoman in Dublin

We are so glad we came across here, while on holiday! Amazing food, wonderful locals and beyond brilliant staff! If we were staying longer we would definitely be back in again! And I highly recommend a visit, even if you have little ones! We visited with our 8 month old daughter, and if you have children, this restaurant will not disappoint in being friendly and welcoming 🩷 Our waitress went above and beyond (wish we got her name), entertaining our daughter and making sure we had everything we need. The food was delicious, cooked exactly as we wanted and so reasonably priced for the quality! They also do special little one dishes if needed (our daughter shared our steak too!), have high chairs and are pram friendly! It's in a great location if you are staying in the DCU accommodation too as a 15 minute walk/5 minute drive. We only came across it while visiting the botanical gardens and my goodness we are glad we did!

Food was delicious. The hamburger was great. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy. Our waitress was very polite and great sense of humor. Would come again

A nice, quaint restaurant but food was way overpriced & lacking. Steak came with some chips & nothing else. Nice to visit once, won't be rushing back.

Limited menu but excellent food......probably because its limited. Everything done to high standards

We came for Sunday lunch. The roast beef was top quality. Wings for starters and deserts were lovely too! We’l be back to test more of the menu.

The food was very good, but we waited about an hour for the main courses after the starters. I was there with my son, and I was already asking him to lower the volume on his phone when a staff member came over and suggested using headphones.They were polite, but I was already handling it. I didn’t like that very much, and the long wait either, so I wouldn’t come back.

This is a great restaurant in one of the oldest buildings in Glasnevin village. The food is great. They have a very good wine, cocktail and craft beer selection. Staff are lovely. Great to be beside an old radiator on a cold day. Handily located between two bus stops for going north or south. Never had a bad dining experience.

Food was fresh and delicious and there were a couple of vegetarian options! The place was a bit crowded at lunchtime but, fortunately, the weather permitted we sit outside so the wait was not too bad. The atmosphere inside is also quite cozy and everyone was happy with the options.

Fantastic find! Great service, great food and such a cool little restaurant! I’ll be back 😊
