I am a new local to the area. It’s nice to have this friendly pub on my doorstep. I really enjoy that if you are going by yourself for a few quiet beers. They offer a nice table service that makes for a very relaxing evening not trying to see if your seat goes if you move from it to go to the bar. Staff are very responsive and friendly. Lovely pint of Guinness! Highly recommend.

08/09/2025: Love the food here, always very fresh and very filling. The Tuesday deal on the snack box (buy 1 get 1 free) is amazing. 👍
25/08/2025: Had a take out, ordered through just eat. Had the joe burger and the ranch breast. The burgers were really good and tasty, the price for the meal deal is very reasonable once u get a drink the burger and fries. I still ordered more fries and ended having more than I needed. Just couldn’t reach them to ask to remove the cheese as I’m lactose intolerant, no one ever picked up the phone so I just took my medicine. I’d definitely order again.

18/10/2025: Toastie was very nice and a decent price but the inside seating area was very dirty with bird poo on the tables. No effort made to clean it.
