The Wiley Fox in Dublin

14/04/2026: If this isn’t the best cocktail bar in the world then it certainly belongs in the discussion. I came back two nights in a row because I loved it so much. The bartender, Rog, is a delight to talk to and has a deep knowledge of how to make a great drink. If you have the chance to sit by the bar, take it so you can appreciate his craft. The menu is extensive and phenomenal. Between my two nights I probably had about eight different cocktails, each one better than the last. I consider this place a must-visit for anyone in Dublin. Be sure to make a reservation before you go!

12/04/2026: Vintage Cocktail Club is a hidden gem tucked right in the heart of Temple Bar — a neighbourhood usually known for loud, busy pubs. This speakeasy offers a completely different experience and is the perfect way to end a day exploring Dublin. There’s no sign out front — just a black door marked “VCC.” You buzz in, and once inside, you’re transported into a moody, upscale space spread across multiple levels. It’s intimate, refined, and feels like a true escape from the chaos outside. The cocktails were expertly crafted. We had the Manhattan and the French 75 — both well-balanced, smooth, and executed at a high level. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server was personable, professional, and genuinely welcoming, adding to the overall atmosphere. A must-visit in Dublin if you’re looking for something beyond the typical pub scene.
