The Willows in Dublin

Just had a lovely lunch. The pub is just serving soup and toasties at the moment, very tasty, nice tea and coffee. 24 Oct, Just had amazing food today from bar menu, staff arw lovely

Kids loved the fish and chips light batter with good quality fish. Perfect pints and friendly staff.

The refurbishment has retained the lovely cosy and friendly atmosphere. Staff wonderful - we had the Cheese burgers which were cooked to perfection and delicious. Certainly will be back to try the rest of menu. Congratulations to the excellent floor staff and such friendly barmen. Thank you Willows.

No food, service was good but always room for some improvement. Was surprised that a particularly loud customer, cursing long and loud, for all to hear, with children on the premises, wasn't asked by the staff to restrain himself. Otherwise, it was great to see The Willows open again, especially when so many other pubs are closing. Pint? 8 / 10. Will hopefully be returning for a quieter pint in the future, maybe when there is also food available.

Thrilled to see the Willows back in action. Some serious work has gone into the place and it’s a fantastic spot. I’ve been twice now and both times I’ve been served by Joey. Had to get his name as he’s everything you want in a barman. I know what it’s like working in a pub and I can see that that guy is able to multitask while also not compromising on service. It’s rare in my experience for someone to be able to serve you a pint and make conversation in between emptying a dishwasher. I’ve been in places where if someone is doing a task like that they carry on and give you the cold shoulder and let a colleague get to you, but honestly tonight’s experience is what pushed me to review. Cheers Joey! Pub looks fantastic, congrats to all involved and wishing you continued success - I’ll be back.
