Thomas Clarke's in Dublin

Great atmosphere yesterday in there for Oasis, real pity about the older gentleman working behind the bar. Ive never seen someone as rude behind a bar, was there all afternoon and watched him have a go at 2 or 3 people for nothing, called one customer a gobshite. I couldnt believe it, he has to own the place for the way he carried on. Crazy, no way an employee would have been let carry on the way he did.

A great bar. Didn't have the food but it looked lovely. Pub and toilets are spotless. Bar staff attentive and engaging.

Unexpectedly great atmosphere! Once opened the doors, the ambience, people, staff... All cheerful and happy people. Irish music played live, good selection of drinks and of course a well served pint of Guinness. Very friendly and welcoming local crowd, easy to talk and share a laugh with.. Made me feel welcomed and mingled with them. Will come back for sure!

Ask em for a hot whiskey and tell them a Newfie told you to do so! ;) Best pub with the best barmen - love that it wasn't packed to the walls with tourists (like me). Lots of friendly locals and a great live music after 7!
