Toddy's Bar in Dublin

This place a little gem, food serves were large, tasty and good value! Do yourselves a favour and order the linguine, it’s magnificent

Lunch in The Gresham, always a favourite....

Toddy’s Bar & Brasserie is het á la carte restaurant van ons Riu Hotel The Gresham in Dublin en heeft zelf ook een aparte ingang om niet hotel residenten te ontvangen. De kaart is voldoende uitgebreid en bood het aanbod dat de verwachtten . Wij kozen Chowder Soup, Arancini, Fish & Chips en Grilled Salmon. Allemaal zeer lekker en overgoten met de gebruikelijke vriendelijkheid van dit hotel.

Visitado aquí para la cena y el menú es bueno con una buena selección El servicio fue bueno y el lugar es bastante grande, uno de los platos el pollo supremo fue servido y estaba seco y un poco quemado lo cual no era bueno, lo trajimos a su atención y ofrecieron un desierto libre como reconocimiento, Sin embargo, creo que el chef debería haber visto esto antes de servirlo. Me gustaría visitar de nuevo, aunque ya que creo que esto fue solo un descuido y el servicio es bueno

We spent a lovely afternoon in Toddys Restaurant in the Gresham hotel Dublin. The staff were wonderful. The food was very nice. BUT when it came to giving a TIP the fabulous server informed us they are NOT given any tips which are included in you card payment only if you pay them cash. This is an abuse of their staff. I wonder how many tips are gone to line the pockets of the owners at the cost of some of the lowest paid staff. This is outrageous!!!!! I am so glad we asked the server before we paid the bill.

I must have walked by Toddy's on my many Trips to Dublin. This time I decided to go in for lunch. What a really good restaurant, the food was excellent. I do have to mention the Apple and Rhubarb crumble it was amazing. I had lunch SIX times at Toddys during my visit.

Lovely staff and excellent food and service

Upon arrival we're greeted by a sign requesting us to wait until we're assigned a table. It was very quiet inside yet we still had to wait five minutes until we were greeted and assigned a table. The table we got seated at was right next to some kind of cleaning corner with cleaning chemicals and a dirty rag, not exactly an appetizing sight. The sandwiches were pretty good albeit expensive for the size, the chips were luke warm at most and not enjoyable at all. When asked if we'd like to finish lunch with coffee and declined, we were met by the server with a look of disappointment or disagreement. Would not recommend.
