Great food. Best food of any pub in Howth. Best Guinness too. Always bands on at the weekend.

Very large restaurant with a beer garden. We only stopped by for a quick drink. Friendly staff. Quiet atmosphere.

What an absolute delight it was to find McNeills. Came for the Blues festival and caught a set over a pint. Came back later for dinner (and another pint) and the experience was phenomenal: unbelievably great service with staff that was friendly, funny, and accommodating I don't typically eat out when I'm in Ireland but based on other reviews, and my hunger level, I decided to grab dinner before heading back to Dublin Chose the fish and chips (again based on other reviews) and I couldn't have been more pleased. The fish came out out perfect: a light but crispy batter, with unbelievably tender fish inside. Fries (ya I said fries) were pipping hot and also perfectly cooked. It was a generous portion as well. Went there today with my wife and son and never felt more at home ever. From the welcome, to the seating, to the explanation of dishes and finally to the goodbyes.....everything was unexpectedly wonderful. The place is cozy and warm. It's historic and iconic. It's filled with Irish history and culture. It doesn't get more Irish than this place and we loved it. The food was absolutely delicious and well presented. Service was impeccable and attentive. At this point, I would like to specially appreciate Stefanie (she has immense potential). She was warm, welcoming, friendly and very hospitable. Our lunch was perfected by the Chef and complimented by Stefanie. Thank you guys, it was an awesome experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and warm piece of Ireland. Will definitely be returning there soon.

Stefani was absolutely amazing. Sweet, friendly and very welcoming. The drinks are good as well as the Tuesday special Fish and Chips! A certain portion of the restaurant gives old cigar lounge vibes with chess board and books! Will definitely recommend and visit again. My new Favourite spot to eat in Howth! ❤
