I'm amazed we haven't been in here before as we live so close. This place could do with some more advertising but saying that, I don't think it needs it, as it was very busy. We got some coffees and cake but the food looked really nice so we'll have to go back and have some.

Beautiful little cafe situated in a historical barracks with lovely food and lovely staff, interestingly enough the cafe is also attached to a printing museum which holds some very old and interesting printing equipment, old presses ect. And the staff here are equally amazing and incredibly knowledgeable in their field. All around a absolutely fabulous place to visit for a history or museum enthusiast, or somebody who just wants a coffee and a nice breakfast or lunch in a lovely historic setting. The only negative thing I can possibly think of is the parking seems to be very little to nearly none.

I love this place and have been coming here for many years as we live close go but last few times, one of the waitresses (brunette lady with bob haircut) has simply been horrible. She’s extremely unfriendly and smug for absolutely no reason. It’s a pity because it’s a nice place but they’ll def lose their repeat customers.

This is a real hidden gem! Absolutely delicious, home made food. Everything is so fresh and great gluten free options too. The banana bread is melt in your mouth! Very friendly staff too. I highly recommend.

O'Reilly's

09/09/2025: A good place for a pint (Guinness for €7.20). The medieval atmosphere is very well achieved. The food isn't its strong point.
28/08/2025: Woah! This place was an accident find and I'm so glad we found it! It was raining and we were trying to find somewhere to meet our friend and stumbled in. It was decorated in this gothic, dark fashion which I loved. I ended up getting 2 Irish Coffees and a cider and some food and it was so wonderful. We ended up staying there for nearly 3 hours. I definitely recommend this on a rainy day in Dublin. 11/10

Cedar Lounge

01/09/2025: We went to have a few drinks for my friend's 50th Birthday. It's a very nice pub. The Guinness was good. We had a nice evening in the pub.
24/08/2025: Ceaders is hands down one of the best pubs around! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and they go out of their way to make sure everyone feels at home. I often bring my dog Lumo with me (outside area), and they’re always so accommodating – it’s lovely to have a place where he’s just as welcome as I am. Great atmosphere, great service, and a proper community feel. Highly recommend!
