This little gem is outdoors in Fernhill park near Stepaside. It's parked beside the old house which hopefully will be restored before it falls down. We just had hot chocolate and coffees. Service was welcoming, polite, efficient. Lots of seating on well maintained picnic benches. Excellent set up for waste/recycling of cups etc. There is an added bonus of price reduction if you bring your own cup. Prices are very reasonable though. Lovely people!

27/08/2024: Pur essendo quasi l'ora di chiusura ci hanno detto che, se avessimo atteso 10/15 minuti, ci avrebbero fatto accomodare visto che si stava liberando un tavolo. Locale molto piccolo ma carino. Prezzi non proprio bassi ma capesante, ostriche, linguine con aragosta molto buone; anche il pane buonissimo. Le cozze invece non hanno soddisfatto nessuno. La ragazza che ci ha servito (Auguste ?) molto, molto cortese e simpatica.
27/08/2024: Tost al granchio davvero ottimo ed anche gamberi e tonno erano di qualità ! Forse un po’ caro rispetto alle porzioni servite ma mangiare pesce costa sempre un po’ in più

Coffee Shop

03/11/2024: Love a lazy Saturday afternoon here with friends. The spinach Quiche and vegan flapjack are my faves. Sitting outside on a chilly autumn day watching the world go by or visiting the walled garden to chat with the budgerigars in the aviary is a step out of the usual madness.
27/10/2024: A lovely café! Lovely food and great coffee!
