Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! The food was excellent and full of flavour. Joanne was unbelievably professional, friendly and attentive, and the chef even came out to check on us — a lovely personal touch. A very welcome and much-needed asset to Mountmellick. It’s brilliant to see a new restaurant bringing such great food and service to the town. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended. 👏🏻

I brought my father who is confined to a wheel chair in for a pint this afternoon Hailey was so friendly and helpful and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and welcome

We had the pleasure of eating here today. And it was lovely. Without a doubt the food was fantastic, we were a table of 6 and everyone was delighted with what they had ordered. The staff were fantastic, and we felt they were on the ball for anything we needed. Everything felt very relaxed and enjoyable. We definitely will be back again

4 of us popped in for sunday lunch. Have been meaning to try it since it opened. We were all very impressed with the food and service. Wings and pork belly bites were had for starters. Massive wings, decent portion. Pork belly was as good as it gets. Even the pig would have been proud. I had the featherblade, my wife the roast beef, and there was also lamb. Everything was spot on. Special mention about the butter and thyme carrots. Yum! Didnt get to try the deserts as we were stuffed. I dont understand some of the reviews moaning about portion size. We all left full and happy. The menu has something for everyone, every ingredient is cooked with care and respect. This is top class stuff.

Fabulous spot. Blown away by the calibre of cooking in this spot. It won’t be long before this becomes a stand-out spot, not sure any gastropub in the midlands can compete with the exceptional food here. The roast sirloin was delicious, I think the vegetables, the glazed carrots and braised red cabbage brought the whole dish together. You can tell alot about an establishment from the attention paid to the veg, and this is a must visit. I cannot wait to come back.

A little expensive and small portions, I got a very small portion of potatoes and asked for a half portion extra and was charged 5 euro it's not the money but you shouldn't have to pay extra for what you should have got in the first place, All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, hope to go back there again

Absolutely gorgeous food, with great hospitality. The best meal out we have had in years. Small but quality menu, melt in your mouth pork bites and featherblade of beef, amazing desserts and delicious chicken wings. Everything was 10 out of 10. Would 100% recommend.

Its about time mountmellick had an evening restaurant and all i can say is wow , the food is delicious , the portions are just right , staff and front of house are so welcoming and attentive , the beef featherblade is my go to and its melt in the mouth , the potatoe skins as a starter are my favorite and not to mention the deserts , the brownie is gorgeous 🙂 i highly reccomend a visit if passing by or you around the area you wont be dissapointed 👌🏻
