Two Boys Brew in Dublin

Amazing food and coffee! On the weekends, it gets so busy so you might need to wait a bit!

Two Boys Brew is a nice cafe/brunch spot in Phibsborough. The coffees are lovely and reasonably priced and the food is okay. Would definitely come back for the coffees (especially the matcha!) probably not the food. I got chicken and stuffing toastie and it was a bit dry - the menu said it has garlic aioli but I couldn’t taste it in the toastie. There is one staff who took our order and she was quite impatient and not very friendly. We had only sat down for two minutes when she came to take our order. We said we needed a few more minutes as my dad was in the restroom. A minute later, When he came out he had literally just sat down when she came over again. We felt pressured to order then and there and even though we clearly hadn’t decided yet she stood there waiting until we did order so we felt rushed. When she came back to give us our cutlery she was almost slamming the knives and forks down on the table. The rest of the staff were lovely though and very welcoming. Nice atmosphere inside.

As a vegan in Dublin, it can be difficult to find places with vegan options that are creative, super tasty and aren’t just a throw-away option on a menu. Especially since so many exclusively vegan restaurants and cafés closed down during COVID. I was delighted that Two Boys Brew could ‘veganise’ their mushroom toast option and it was beautiful. It was the best mushroom toast on sourdough I’ve ever had! I also got a 500ml filter coffee wonderfully presented in a Chemex too. You don’t see pour-overs that often in café’s so I jumped at the option to have had some! I loved everything about the café; it was open, airy, the staff were attentive and friendly. I can’t wait to come back!

Really great food and even better coffee, very nice spot and a lovely interior. Service leaves a lot to be desired, had trouble understanding very simple questions and was met with a scowl when only getting a coffee.

Very delicious food and even greater coffee! They had a good variety of goodies. The server we had unfortunately was not very friendly, maybe just a bad day but the others were quite nice and made up for it.

Modern style cafe. Waitress was very friendly. Good quality coffee and food. A bit loud from the street, but otherwise 5 stars.

The place has a great atmosphere. There’s a wonderful selection of hot drinks, and the food is fresh and absolutely amazing. The coffee is always tasty, and the service is quick, friendly, and professional. Thank you, Kevin and team! You truly deserve the success of this café because you stand out in every way.
