Loved it. Fast service. Good food.

Used to be a favourite place to stop on old Galway - Dublin road. A little off the motorway now, but still one of the best places to stop close to Motorway.

The food is homemade and the food is good.

I went there Thursday September 25 with my husband and Niece and her partner , I ordered a glass of Rose asked our server if it was dry he said yes it was like drink a sweet fruit drink , I told him it was not what I expected and I ordered a white wine got changed for both he spoke little to no English which was frustrating, the steak was overcooked all three of them I had a stir fry which was tasty , I enjoyed our evening there only draw back was communicated with our server and my wine.

Really good food, 'old school ' menu. First impressions would fool you, you'd think it was a bit chaotic but the opposite is true. In 4 visits since July [ no booking made ] we have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to get a table. Very friendly, highly organised staff front of house and who ever is in tbe kitchen has it nailed down

Lovely food and an nice ambience set in an olde world atmosphere in keeping with the castle. They even have a knights armour to greet you at the entrance 🤣

We stopped here spontaiously on our wayfrom Dublin to Galway and were super happy! The staff was super friendly and the food delicious. Plus the price was pretty low for the quality. Seemed to be full with locals too. Highly recommend!

A magical and unique restaurant in a castle. We ate well. Friendly staff. I highly recommend it.
