Second visit here. Lovely food, well presented & the service is very efficient & friendly. Prices are very reasonable for the ample portions. Everyone in our party of 6 was well satisfied. Some of the dishes we had.. lasagne, stuffed turkey, steak, veg soup, cheesecake, raspberry crumble, pancake & the pavlova (huge portion).

An old castle and a nice little place with decent food, decent prices, staff and a medieval atmosphere.

Always reliable for a good dinner at a reasonable price. Busy place, but we've never failed to get a table and get in and out quickly when on a journey.

Had lunch here today. Food was lovely. We had a ham and cheese toastie. Lovely chunky ham pieces . Chicken vol au vent was perfect. €17 for 2 coffees, toastie and vol au vent. Amazing value.. Service was friendly and food served quick. Lovely atmosphere inside the beautiful castle stoned walls. Highly recommend ….

Delicious food and friendly staff!

Went for breakfast here this morning, lovely warm welcoming place, breakfast was lovely and very reasonable and all the staff were very friendly, definitely go back and highly recommend.

Great place to stop on route for food.
