Good options on the menu. Soup was lovely with a very fresh roll. My wife had the vol lu vant and it looked good and she said it was nice. Big portions and you won't leave hungry.
For mains we both had turkey and ham. Again at big portion but perhaps just a little too long under d heat lamp, piping hot and just a little bland. A bit nicer once it cooled down. In saying that I cleared the plate so was still a good feed. Dessert menu looked good but we were stuffed.
Good value for money and great service, we will definitely return.
Discovered quite by chance on Maps while traveling from Dublin to Galway.
Excellent location. Good food, served hot. Everything as it should be. Thank you!
Such a cool spot to stop on our drive from Dublin to Galway! You actually get to eat inside a real 13th-century castle. The food was great, staff were lovely, and it broke up the trip perfectly. Highly recommend checking it out!
We stopped off in Tyrellspass Castle for brekkie on a club day out at 9.30am. There was 14 of us in the group. We rang in advance, and they were very accommodating to us.14 different breakfast orders to arrive out to the table at the one time is a big ask. The food was lovely, freshly cooked and hot! The staff were fantastic, so friendly, so helpful. Would highly recommend a full fry up at Tyrellpass castle, set you up for the day... ♥️
