Ukiyo in Dublin

Recently had a large group in for the group menu. Fantastic food and plenty of it, great value for the price. Drinks were also really good and friendly staff! Thanks to Monique and the team!

I’ve found my new favourite restaurant😛☝️ My fam and I ordered the waffles with korean fried chicken, two platters of sushi and a cocktail and I’m gonna take everyone I know here for sure. I’ve never had such an experience eating at an asian restaurant before until here. I love it sm i sooo recommend

Went out with my friends last weekend for a dinner in Ukiyo. We ordered a couple of sharing plates with some sushi. Followed with some tasty cocktails. Staff was very helpful with our choices. For us, 5 stars for serving,food, and drinks. Well managed. Recommended tuna tostada and cauliflower katsu.

Had an amazing evening here on Saturday night. Beautiful food, amazing staff, they could not do enough for us. Especially Michael, he was fab. Will definitely be back soon!!

The food is good, but one staff member was kinda sassy. We went at a time when there were maybe 2 other tables occupied and all the other tables were empty. It was the afternoon so not a lot of people were expected to show up in the next hour. Yet when we were told to pick any spot to sit, they didn't like that 2 of us picked a table that was for 4 people and we got a condescending remark that the table's for 4 people. Nevermind that it was just 2 small tables put together and they could have simply separated them, and that the place was empty, they decided to go with a snarky comment. So I gave them an equally snarky response that I'm sure they were expecting a lot of people soon and then we sat somewhere else at a 2 person table. A few days later, me and my friend went to a pub for lunch in a different city and it was packed full of people yet the servers there chose to sit the 2 of us down at a 4 person table despite a lot of people wanting to go there. Why were they able to do it and this Japanese place couldn't? I've never experienced being told that we couldn't sit at a 4 person table at an empty restaurant until now and it's absolutely ridiculous? Am I petty for getting upset at this? Probably yeah but I don't care.

Llegó a Dublín después de un largo viaje transatlántico y se propuso explorar la ciudad. Después de un par de horas era la hora del almuerzo / brunch. Nos topamos con Ukiyo que tenía una buena multitud, parecía limpio y relajante. Cada uno tenía cajas Bento que eran perfectos. El servicio fue eficiente.

Venimos aquí cada vez que estamos en Dublín y nunca decepciona. Fantástico menú y comida es increíble. El personal es siempre encantador. No puedo esperar hasta la próxima vez.
