I had the steak sandwich perfectly cooked. My niece had the beef burger and it was excellent. The valley lodge is one place in Carrick where you are guaranteed not to go away hungry.

Great hot food good prices. Sometimes can hear two music's or is repetitive or irritating or too loud of songs playing in background. More so affects when sitting in overflow back part of restaurant. Just need to be more noise conscious for relaxing enjoyable meal. Everything else in this restaurant is top tier.

09/02/2025: Could be such a pleasant place but it's definitely over priced. A Rockshandy 7.60 euro????👀 Dessert at 8.80 and the crust of the apple pie was nearly burned. I was there before and it wasn' t so crazy. The bathroom, nice and clean, is downstairs.....lift is out of work. Badly need of improuvement

29/06/2024: I was visiting from the states and JP Duffy from Shevlins Pub referred me to this establishment. I was looking for live music and it was a Sunday, June , 26th. Boy was I not disappointed ! The band was the best ever and I mean awesome !! Great atmosphere, service and people ! My family had a hotel and carriage shop in town in the mid 1800’s, what a great visit !
