The best restaurant in Dublin. Eaten here 10 times and every time is better than the last. I could not recommend here higher. From the service, to the food quality, to the wine, there's literally no better restaurant in the county (country possibly). If you're on the fence, do yourself a favour and book it. I'll refund you myself if you don't like it. VJ forever

A superb meal here last night that rates up there with the best we have eaten in Dublin and I have been coming here twice a year for 12 years. I am always tasked by my husband to find somewhere different and fabulous to eat when here Variety Jones hit the spot totally. (Found it via a recommendation from the excellent Butcher Grill and is also in the Michelin guide always a great go to and rarely fails) The atmosphere was very cool with a nice soundtrack behind it. But the highlights were the food and service. From Kathleen on the wines, to manager Christine and the rest of the team (big shout to the fabulous Fionn) the service was warm and efficient whilst being extremely knowledgeable. As a set menu sometimes timings can be too fast or too slow but here it was perfect. Food itself was exceptional and brilliantly cooked. This was truly one of the best meals of my life. The service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance made the entire evening feel special. The wine list was impressive, and the sommelier’s recommendations were absolutely spot on. My favorite dish of the night was the mushroom dish. Holy cow, it was unbelievably flavorful. Every single plate was delicious though, each one unique and full of depth and creativity. I cannot wait to go back. The entire experience was exceptional, and the price was incredibly fair for the quality and care that went into every detail. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic experience. We enjoyed the more casual atmosphere, with excellent and attentive service, and amazing food. We went for the wine pairing and would highly recommend, both because there were some delicious wines and also because the pairings really enhanced the food.

Went here for a birthday dinner and did not disappoint whatsoever - the food was incredible and inventive and the service was expert and enthusiastic! Very memorable evening overall!

Fantástica comida y vino, servicio amable y excelente, atento pero no intrusivo. Primera vez comiendo en el restaurante aunque tuvimos la suerte de conseguir una comida "box" durante el covid. La comida de caja tan impresionante que ha estado en la lista de deseos para una visita desde entonces. El sabor de todo lo de anoche fue TAN bueno, que algunas grandes influencias asiáticas le dieron rizo a cada bocado. Fue una comida emocionante y los maridajes de vinos funcionaron muy bien. Esperamos demasiado tiempo para llegar al restaurante, no vamos a retrasar la próxima visita. Muy recomendable.

Si bien la comida era muy sabrosa (no muy 5 estrellas), este lugar merece grandes elogios por la presentación y el servicio. Todo era precioso y para el tamaño de la porción, el menú de seis platos es una ganga!
