Best dinner in a long time. Great food, staff and atmosphere

They nailed it. Hard to fault anything. Chill. Super food. Left happy 🙏🏻

The staff at the door were very welcoming, and we were initially pleased with our seating. However, the tables were positioned quite close together. The couple beside us was within easy earshot, and our tables were separated only by a small glass partition, which offered very little privacy. The staff member responsible for our wine service came across as rather serious and somewhat impersonal. After tasting the recommended Unfortunately, I noticed that my wine glass had a noticeable dishwasher odor. When I mentioned this, she promptly replaced the glass. However, the second glass had the same issue. When I brought this to her attention, I was disappointed by the response. There was no apology or attempt to find a better solution. Instead, I was told that all the glasses would likely be the same, although she would be happy to replace it again if I wished. At that point, I decided to keep the glass and not let the issue affect the rest of the evening. While the food and overall experience had many positive aspects, I expected a higher level of attention to detail and customer service from a Michelin-starred restaurant. A simple acknowledgment of the concern and a more proactive response would have made a significant difference.

What a meal. Everything was spectacular, the food, the staff and the atmosphere. Gorgeous food in a very relaxing atmosphere will definitely be coming back.

This was a very nice experience. The staff was friendly and the meal was an interesting culinary journey. A minor note one could make is that the course didn't seem to have much of a throughline as it bounced around culinary styles the included Irish, vietnamese, Italian, Belgian, and was that bite a Peruvian ceviche? It mixed traditional with innovation styles. The name is "variety Jones" though, so if anything perhaps it could be said that the throughline is the very lack of a throughline. I often find kitchens do their best work when they have a focus, but regardless this was a lovely meal, oh and the strawberry sorbet dish that closed the meal was delightfully clear and bright

Excellent, loved it! Food was foremost in the experience and this was explained by a chef or waiter/waitress in detail. Our waitress Charlie had an excellent knowledge regarding wine choices. For us a special occasion our anniversary, but for some clients this was a repeat experience.

The service matched the standard of the Michelin-starred cuisine perfectly, creating a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. Variety Jones fully deserves its reputation and Michelin star — a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Dublin.

I recently came to Dublin from the US for a quick trip. Variety Jones was on top of my “must do” list! I am so glad it was. This was the best meal I had the entire time I was in town, and I went to a few Michelin or Michelin recommended restaurants. The passion that went into every detail was noticeable and the quality of the meal was incredible. You could see the joy on the faces of the employees as they cooked and interacted with each other and you could feel that positivity throughout the restaurant. I did the “non alcoholic” drink pairing and I have never been so impressed by non alcoholic beverages before. Every single detail was perfect. The service, the food, the ambience. I truly enjoyed my experience.
