Variety Jones in Dublin

Amazing experience. The food was delicious, well executed with some surprising textures and flavour combinations that paired perfectly. Our favourite was the hamachi crudo, an absolute delight. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and created a very comfortable atmosphere. Shoutout to Mani for accompanying us during the evening and for the extra bread! Plus, the restaurant is beautiful, with a combination of vibrant colors and warm tones that create a cozy and elevated space.

We had a truly lovely and relaxing evening at Variety Jones. Everything was wonderful! The venue, the atmosphere, the food, the wine, and the superb service – simply everything was outstanding. We highly recommend it!

Came to Variety Jones for my birthday celebrations and couldn’t be happier with my choice. Off the charts ambiance, incredibly knowledgeable and kind staff, and i do not have enough compliments for the food, which was one of the best i’ve ever had in my life. Cannot recommend more, and I look forward for the next time.

A great experience. Service was lovely, fun and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is great with a full open kitchen and great lighting. The food was an experience as someone who is usually a vegetarian (they don’t accommodate vegetarians but can provide a pescatarian menu). We really struggled finishing our mains and had to request a takeaway box (they can only provide tinfoil). Great value for quantity, but we were not mind blowed by any of the dishes. The Cacio & Pepe is a must and delicious. The strawberry ice cream was a 10/10. One thing: It would be great to get a printed menu at the end to remember what we had during the evening. In brief: a great experience, but not a Michelin that I would come back too.

I'd read up on it and other Michelin -starred Dublin restaurants and chose this because, for once, I wanted to have a chef's choice of 6 courses for my family. The experience was fabulous and cheerful. Two of us had a range of recommended wines by the glass. The food was excellent, as you would expect, locally sourced with varied international influences on its Irishness.

One of the five best meals we have ever had. It could not have been more perfect. They were all incredibly attentive to allergies, making substitutions and swooping in to grab a dish that might have caused a problem. If there were more than five stars to give, I would give them.

An absolute delight from the moment we entered, superb attention, stunning food and excellent wines. It is a treat venue but be sure to put it on your list.

What a spectacular experience!! This very well may be the best meal we’ve ever had, or ever will… I must say, get the wine pairing for the full experience!! The flavors work perfectly, and only enhance your experience. You’ll be glad to pay the bill when it comes. You get your value, and the meal is quite a journey of flavor, thought, and enjoyment. The pasta course made me feel like a giddy boy, scraping the plate for that last drop of sauce like I did as a boy. Thank you to everyone who made this a special experience, from the host to the servers (Camilla/Savi - Thank you!!!) to the chef, to the locale itself. Music was spot on, and dare I say perfectly curated for the meal. Will be raving for years to come, and when we return to Dublin, this will be our first, second, and third stop.
