This might have been my favorite food experience while I was visiting Ireland. I'm so happy I was able to get a reservation! The food, the service, the wine, and the vibes were immaculate. You don't think you're gonna be full by the end of it, but you are. I was able to try foods I would probably never pick off a menu nor would a regular menu have those things lol this place is on my list to recommend to everyone who visits Dublin.

Had a memorable evening in this place. The staff performed outstanding from beginning to end, welcoming and kind, smiley and genuine. They kept an eye on details such as refilling water and suggesting suitable drinks, they were very knowledgeable on the food. The chefs did just as outstanding with incredibly surprising and colourful dishes with unexpected twists, the whole menu was artsy. The atmosphere is so cozy because the place is small and the kitchen is open, good music. Fully recommended!

My favourite Irish restaurant. The best of the Michelin in Dublin. We try to go every few months and it always surprises with their elaborated and delicious snacks and dishes. Amazing chef's table experience where you can see the kitchen running like clockwork. Everybody is warm and lovely, and you can see that they enjoy what they do a lot. Best price and quality while still being very creative! I just love this place, and it feels like home. The wine pairing is also worth it!

Good atmosphere, staff were lovely, but... The crab dish was way too strong for our palate, and I was very disappointed that I could not choose between the monkfish or pigeon. Since I don’t eat pigeon, I left the place without having a main course. I know that it is a chef’s choice menu, but it is not clear as it says monkfish OR pigeon on the menu. The server told us that they save the fish for the pescatarian. Overall, I don’t think it’s worth the price.

You made two Italians love Alfredo Pasta...!!! Oh god where to begin. I rarely had this much fun and ate so damn well like at Variety Jones. Fine dining in a very unpretentious and comfortable setting with high end food and unbelievable wine pairing. The sommelier is outstanding both in the choices and the presentation of them, every person in the service team is careful and attentive, shout out to Aaron who made us laugh a few times while being extremely knowledgeable and attentive to our questions. This is what high end dining should be, great craic, amazing food, memories to be held forever! Can't wait to be back 🌝

Food was wonderful and staff were absolutely incredible. Sommelier helped us choose a great value and delicious Austrian wine. The hostess went above and beyond, honestly the best service we have received in a very long time - checked in at all times and the knowledge the staff had of the dishes and the food (even the back story about ye Alfredo pasta and it being a memory of one of the chefs) we loved it. Only thing, was main course was pigeon and we’re not the biggest fan. Served with pigeon feet, was a little unorthodox but I’m sure others would have loved it - we passed on this. Wish we were given the other main of monkfish, that’s what you get for chefs choice tasting meal. Every other course was incredible. The duck liver parfait was an absolute winner as was the jerk celeriac and crab- licked the plate clean. Also the poached pear - see below - to die for..

Maybe a personal preference for the crab. I felt its flavour was overwhelmed by other ingredients. The snacks were amazing and the monkfish was also outstanding. Service and atmosphere were great.

Cirillo's

28/03/2024: I wanted some real Italian pizza and I stopped by Cirillo's Restaurant...authentic Italian food menu for every single courses...Darius and Dennis just provide a fantastic experience!
24/03/2024: Pizzas sometimes leave me underwhelmed, bread, melted cheese, some toppings. They’re grand, but rarely impressive. Not so pizza in Cirillio’s: these really are a cut above your regular, decent pizza. The dough is beautifully textured, with lovely leoparding, and served piping hot straight from the traditional oven. Interesting combinations of toppings makes this my go-to place for delicious, finger-licking pizza. Try it. You won’t be disappointed. For added novelty, get the table in the basement beside the kitchen watch and listen to the chefs do their thing.
