The staff are very friendly and efficient and the cafe was clean, there's loads of parking and the food was good and not too expensive. Wide choice of food not just coffee, hot meals , sandwiches etc.

Lovely little Café with very attentive staff located in the Tesco shopping centre Dodsboro. They have a small but varied menu, the food is excellent as is the coffee.

River Cafe

03/06/2026: Place was good. Food was nothing overly fancy but ticked the boxes. One staff on the floor and counter. Nice and seemed to be well liked by the regulars. Tables could use an update a bit rocky and don't really suit the stone interior. Extention lead hanging on the chair was a bit odd. Overall a nice enough experience.
15/05/2026: Had small breakfast. Really tasty and cooked well. Staff lovely. Was busy but got a great table at the window for four of us. No complaints from any of us.

L'Officina

01/09/2026: Came a week or so ago with my aunt. Food was ok, not the best. I think you could definitely get better options for cheaper. Not many options available and menu is a DISASTER to attempt to read. service was also ok. Didn’t finish my plate of food and the server made a comment on it when he came to collect the plates. Personally wouldn’t be back.
27/08/2026: Small but high quality menu. Chef especially interested in how good is received, came out to check after main course. Food to a very high standard at very reasonable prices, staff Very friendly & helpful
