Walsh's in Dublin

Great Guinness. Always packed though and quite tight so difficult to find any space to sit or stand.

Best pint of Guinness in Ireland. Lovely bar with friendly staff. Was working in the Christmas markets for 2 weeks, this place is a gem. Will definitely be back, cheers 👍

Ciarán at the Fish Shop recommended Walshes as a pub where we could get a good pint of Beamish. We were greeted with a friendly comment from the bar staff and then enjoyed a pint of Cork’s finest 🍺

Lovely neighbour pub. Victorian in style; wooden sectional dividers. Impressive selection of snacks. Live music some evenings like Sunday night. Dog friendly.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff , loved the snug and original stained glass panels.

Best pint of Guinness in Dublin - around €6.50!

Walsh’s of Stoneybatter was recommended by a Guinness Gravity Bar bartender during my quest for great pints on the “Dublin Pub Crawl” list, so naturally it earned a spot. It is a great pub with a lot going for it, and I’m glad I stopped in. It also had more of a locals vibe which was a nice change of pace from the heavy tourist areas. I was excited to catch the trad music on the Thursday night we visited, but the setup is a little unusual. The musicians were tucked into the back by the toilets, and the only seating available placed us basically in the band. The crowd was lively, just not necessarily for the music. Everyone was shouting over the musicians which made it hard to enjoy ourselves. Not the atmosphere I expected, but entertaining in its own chaotic way. We eventually grabbed two seats at the bar where we could still watch the music, although that part of the bar seemed to be the bartender’s unofficial “optional zone.” I got my steps in walking to the other side for service, so at least the Guinness calories were balanced out. All that said, Walsh’s is a genuinely good pub with a strong locals crowd, and any place that keeps live trad going gets at least a subtle thumbs up from me.

Great pub with excellent service and Guinness

A nice pub to grab a drink and chat with a friend, Very relaxed cozy atmosphere. Had a misinformed Google post, that the place offered food and drinks , even showing a menu, just to clarify for you. It's only a bar . It was a good one we enjoyed our whiskey on the rocks .
