Great pub with excellent service and Guinness

A nice pub to grab a drink and chat with a friend, Very relaxed cozy atmosphere. Had a misinformed Google post, that the place offered food and drinks , even showing a menu, just to clarify for you. It's only a bar . It was a good one we enjoyed our whiskey on the rocks .

Having lived and drank in Dublin for well over forty years, Walshes ranks among the best pubs I have ever been in, on every level.

Very friendly pub. Staff very welcoming. Always a nice crowd.

A great local pub with a good atmosphere and a fine selection behind the bar, highly recommended. We were staying in a local student hostel when I popped over for the last drink and my companion when to bed. The access key card failed and I was stranded outside the room, I returned to the pub for assistance and the manager accompanied me back and used his mobile to alert security. He then returned with the security guard to ensure I was safe. He would take nothing for his trouble and I am eternally grateful for his assistance.

The best pints! Love this place super friendly staff. Old school.

Monday evening so was quieter than usual but still of punters. Fantastic decor inside ...real old style pub. Great Guinness
