Westland Cafe in Dublin

Good atmosphere, good coffee, straight forward good.

I utilise Bear Markets whole beans for home use. I find they are appropriately priced and consistently good. Staff are always friendly. The space here isn't exactly comfortable or relaxing to sit for a coffee. What really brings down the score for me however, is the lack of glass/ceramic cups for sit in customers. I understand the need for take away cups for those without some form of reusable cup, but there should remain an option to have coffee in a glass/ceramic vessel for sit-in customers.

I thought there was no good coffee in Ireland, but here I would put 8 out of 10, it's delicious. I'll add two points if I come back in a year and it will be just as delicious here as it is now. 10-star service, the barista saw that I was from Ukraine and showed that he also loves Ukraine and recently posted a post about Ukraine. The atmosphere is unusually warm because after 5 minutes I felt that they were waiting for me here and that I was a VIP guest. Thank you 🙏

Strange seating options where there was far too little space. Simply uncomfortable and cold. You can't call it modern. Coffee was ok and the staff so semi-friendly.

Had my first experience recently and it leaves some mixed feelings. It's not a bad spot, the staff are very friendly and the range of pastries were good and tasty. But the real reason we go to a cafe is the coffee. It was a bit lacking for me. Could be personal preference but it felt a bit mild/weak. Like an insomnia level coffee but still pricey (to be fair that's most of Dublin) I'd still recommend trying here, but personally for the price and quality/taste it's middle of the park for me. A good selection of beans and blends on sale and like I mentioned, good large pastries to pick from. If I could 3.5 I would but not quite a 4.

Popped in whilst waiting fir a thing. Very trendy and a "coffee to go" vibe. The seating is not very comfortable so not somewhere to wait or relax in. Plus no guest wifi. The milk used left an aftertaste. €8.40 for a cappuccino and hot chocolate.
