This specific BEAR MRKT location is the perfect option for your coffee stop for so many reasons. Excellent equipment, high quality roasts and selection, and expertly constructed drinks all make BEAR my choice in Dublin; however, it is the baristas and staff that truly make this a genuinely wonderful stop that will make your day. Paula was the most kind and sincere person I have met in the entire city, and her unbelievably infectious personality has been the highlight of my stay in Dublin. I am yet to have a better coffee, of many, and I’m certain I will not encounter a match of Paula’s kindness.

As soon as I stepped into the bear market, I felt immediately at home. The owner greeted me upon my arrival and took time to detail each, and every pastry item they had in their case. He recognized me as someone visiting from out of the country and engaged me in a conversation about where I was from and what I was doing in Ireland. The team there was incredibly gracious, the pastries were phenomenal and the coffee was excellent. This is a really cool little spot to stop in at on the way into the office or for a quick bite. The owner pointed out to me that they are getting ready to open up some seating in the upper area and that will allow for more people to actually dine in. Overall wonderful experience I would recommend to anyone local or visiting.

This coffee was amazing. As soon as I took my first sip, I was thinking of how in the future when I have an industrial coffee machine, I want the coffee beans they make here. I had a Vietnamese Iced coffee and it was stunning. Not too sweet and not too bitter, it was perfect. I also had a plain croissant and it was huge and really soft and flaky. The price was €6.50 for any coffee and a plain croissant. I tried my friends Almond croissant which was also stunning and her Iced Mocha. Would definitely return! Wish I had come on my first day to try one of their many other drinks!

I think this is the best coffee I’ve had in Dublin. I got the Iced Mocha and my friend got the Iced Vietnamese coffee, both had so much flavour and made us want to buy their own coffee beans! Lots of seating available and friendly staff The pastries were lovely too and tasted fresh. Will definitely be visiting again when I’m back in Dublin :)

A solid spot on the coffee scene, perfect for a quick stop on the way to work. ✅️ Pros: 🧾 Menu: A selection of croissants – both sweet and savory options are available, making it a great complement to your morning coffee. ☕️ Takeaway Coffee: You can buy pre-packaged coffee beans on-site, which is a big plus for those who enjoy brewing at home. 🌿 Interior: The place has a very pleasant, aesthetically pleasing decor, making it a pleasure to spend those few minutes waiting for your order. It's eco-friendly, with a reindeer moss hanging on the wall, which adds an eco-friendly vibe. ➡️ My thoughts: The coffee is delicious and well-prepared, although in my opinion, it lacks that "something" that would warrant a full 5-star rating. This is a very good standard, but not an exceptional experience. ⏰️ Worth knowing: The cafe is geared towards a fast turnover. Due to the nature of the space and the lack of a public bathroom, Bear Market Coffee is more of a place for a quick pit stop and onward journey than for hours spent lingering with a laptop or a book. Summary: A very good option for a quick, high-quality espresso or cappuccino and a fresh croissant before starting the day. I recommend it!
